About me
I grew up in the beautiful city of Nuremberg in the Central Franconia region of Germany. After completing my education and studies, I was seized by curiosity about other countries and their peoples and different cultures and languages.
I worked in Germany and abroad for many years in the hotel industry and for an airline, an international food company and the German Chamber of Foreign Trade.
My 7-year stay in Asia, during which I taught English and German to people from all over the world with very different objectives, helped to convince me that language is not just verbal communication, but also contributes significantly to cultural understanding and mutual connection.....speaking a common language opens the heart and promotes mutual understanding.
As a long-time student of Chinese, I am conscious at all times of the need for effective language teaching.
I am delighted to be able to pass on to you my knowledge, my years of experience as a teacher of European languages to adults, teacher on integration courses, telc (the European languages certificates) and DTZ (German test for immigrants) examiner and my passion for language teaching and to support you in your individual language learning goals.
